Pathophysiology - Molecular Genetics of CSCC
- David Wheeler’s group at Baylor, working with MD Anderson, performed WES on 39 cases of aggressive cSCC to identify driver mutations [^1]
- They found 61.2 mutations per megabase

Pathophysiology - Molecular Genetics of CSCC
- Wheelers’ group showed a high frequency of C>T transitions in cSCC [^1]
- 75% of mutations were C>T (UVB signature) and 5.6% were DNP
- Similar to Melanoma
